Buy the Mordecai “College Rock” LP. It’s swank. Quality tuneless never goes out of style!

Earlier today I was talking to a friend about the band Exodus, and all of the sudden a memory from my past hit me. 25 years ago my friend Zoran(themightyz)and I were “chillin” with Paul Baloff(former singer of Exodus) in an office he had at the Rock on broadway in San franscico. This was After he’d been booted from Exodus, and had started booking bands and doing shows. I think it was Baloff productions or something. I wish I still had his card. At any rate after we were done “chillin” with Paul, the three of us walked downstairs into the venue. Much to Paul’s dismay he realized he’d booked a show for that night, and totally forgotten about it. The show was the Redhot chili Peppers. Paul started freaking out, and trying to kick the packed club out of the venue so that he could collect money. He had absolutely no security there, so he gave zoran and myself flashlights and $20 to work the door and do security(we were deputized as he put it). I think within a half hour it became apparent that we had no control in the club at all, and Paul was upstairs hiding out. Zoran and I gave up, and just sorta joined the crowd. We watched a bunch of punk bands (whipping boy was one)open for the chilli peppers who played naked, and only wore socks(on their cocks). I’m not sure how they got paid, because no one paid at the door. I had totally forgotten that this was a life expiernce of mine until today…duh.
